Insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United youngsters Harrison Ashby and Conor Coventry may get a chance in Europe this week.

Next up for the Hammers in the Europa Conference League is a home match against Anderlecht as the English outfit look to maintain their perfect start to the group.

Having won their first three fixtures in the competition, David Moyes may now feel as though he has the opportunity to rest and rotate some of his squad – and it seems as though this could open the door for a couple of the club’s talented youth prospects.

Indeed, while talking on The West Ham Way podcast, Ex named Ashby and Coventry as two men that might get a chance to start against Anderlecht on Thursday evening.

He said: “We’ve got Anderlecht on Thursday. We do need to win that one to make sure we 100% finish top of the group.

“I expect there to be the usual rotation and the possibility that maybe Ashby and Coventry, people like that, might get a chance. But we shall see.”
