YouTuber Conor McGilligan has urged Leeds United to sign Championship left-back Josh Tymon this summer.
As things stand, the Whites seem to be in the market for a new left-back, with The Athletic reporting that a transfer search has been going on since Junior Firpo injured a hip in their first pre-season game against Blackpool.
While talking about possible left-back signings on the One Leeds Fan Channel, McGilligan urged Leeds to sign Tymon, calling him the Potters’ ‘best player’.
He said: “There are several [deals] out there that Leeds could go out and do. Left-backs are cheap – Tymon, we were talking about Tymon at Stoke.
“That’s going to cost you less than £10m for a 23-year-old left-back who is Stoke’s best player at the minute and someone who could come into this Leeds United setup.”

TIF Thoughts on Josh Tymon and Leeds…
Still only 23 years of age, Tymon proved last season that he is a mainstay in the Stoke City team, playing in 44 Championship games while also showing his ability to contribute to the attack, with seven goal involvements in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
He showed his consistency in that period, too, with an average SofaScore player match rating of 6.80 in the league last term. Therefore, it’s easy to see why McGilligan rates the player as an option at full-back.
However, while he urges Leeds to sign Tymon as he could be picked up for less than £10m, they could face competition for his signature from the likes of Rangers, who were linked with him earlier this summer. And so, if a bidding war was to take place, his value could quickly rise, making this deal a little more complicated.
