Insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that Everton striker Moise Kean will not be heading to one team this summer despite recent rumours.

According to a recent report in Corriere dello Sport (via West Ham Zone), West Ham United would like to sign the player but Juventus are working on a ‘solution’ to sign him.

Kean did spend last season on loan with the Italian club and it looks as though a return is more likely than him making the switch to London with the Hammers.

Indeed, while discussing the talk on The West Ham Way podcast, Ex said this story was a complete ‘non-starter’ according to people he’d spoken to within the club.

He explained (17:36): “I’ve already been told that that deal’s a non-starter. We’re [West Ham] not interested in him. He was at Juventus, I think he’s actually technically an Everton. But he was on loan at Juventus.

“But I have been told – I haven’t actually checked it out since the second link – but last time I checked it out, I was told that we didn’t want to sign him.”

TIF thoughts on Moise Kean and Everton…

This news could come as a bit of a blow to Everton who may well feel as though the best option this summer is to get as much money as possible for Kean.

Since signing him from Juventus as a teenager on a five-year deal for for an initial fee of £25.1m that could rise to £27.5m, the striker has failed to deliver.

Indeed, he has scored just four goals for the Toffees in that time and has spent the past two seasons out on loan with Paris Saint-Germain first and more recently back in Serie A with Juve.

Considering his form in England, it’s easy to see why a Premier League outfit such as West Ham would snub a potential move. And so, Everton may well have to hope a European club will take a chance on the 22-year-old if they want him sold this summer.
