ExWHUemployee has claims that West Ham United duo Craig Dawson and Michail Antonio have nothing to worry about amid injury fears.

In their last Premier League outing, David Moyes’ men cruised to a 4-0 away win over Norwich City. Unfortunately, though, both Dawson and Antonio had to be withdrawn early.

Has Michail Antonio been good enough for West Ham recently?

Speaking after the game, Moyes explained to club media why the duo had to be pulled off, saying: “Mick’s got a bit of a knock on his hip. Dawson took one in the calf.”

However, while talking on The West Way Ham podcast, Ex was able to calm concerns about the severity of either issue.

He said (57:23): “Dawson and Antonio are expected to be fine. They were just taken off because we were 3-0 up.

“And 4-0 from the penalty, with Dawson taken off as a precaution. You know, we were winning, the game was dead. So we were able to rest them.

“I would have taken Antonio off anyway to be honest with you, injury or not. Because of the fact that the game was finished. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about [with] those two.”

Both players have been pretty fundamental to the club this season and so fans will want each man to be fit in the final two games of the season.

Indeed, Dawson has been a rock at the back this term, playing 48 games across all competitions while even chipping in with four goals and two assists too.
