Newcastle United have enjoyed a huge resurgence under Eddie Howe. After not tasting victory in their opening 14 fixtures, they have fought off relegation and now sit in the top half of the table.
The Magpies have had to make do without January signing Kieran Trippier for the majority of the season after his arrival from Atletico Madrid. He fractured his metatarsal against Aston Villa and hasn’t featured since.

It is still unclear if he will play again this season for the Magpies, however, his latest video posted on Instagram suggests he could be back fairly soon:
The Newcastle fans will surely love the update from him and hope they will get to see him in action before the season finishes – the caption ‘Loading’ certainly suggests a return could be imminent.

He has only featured four times in the Premier League for Howe’s men, scoring twice, including in the game against Aston Villa before he was forced off with his injury.
So with Trippier looking like he could be back sooner rather than later, the fans will love to see him back on the pitch, especially given the impact he has had.
