Leeds United retained their Premier League status in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season, climbing out of the bottom three at the expense of Burnley.

The Clarets lost 2-1 at home to Newcastle, so Leeds just needed to avoid defeat to stay in the league. They were 1-0 up after Raphinha’s penalty broke the deadlock in the second period. Sergi Canos then levelled things with little over 10 minutes remaining to make things tense for the Whites. Jack Harrison’s goal four minutes into stoppage time settled the nerves and secured the three points.

He gave the midfielder a 7/10, the same rating he gave Kalvin Phillips, justifying his decision with: “For a full Premier League debut, this was better than good from the youngster. Picked some probing passes, got his foot in defensively and showed remarkable composure at times.”

The midfielder was dominant in the air on the day, winning both of his aerial duels throughout the 85 minutes he played before being replaced. He also made a clearance, interception and two tackles in a combative display in the middle of the park for Jesse Marsch’s side.
