Joe Thomlinson has blasted Bruno Fernandes when speaking about Manchester United on the Football Daily YouTube channel.
Bruno Fernandes was a sensational signing for the first 18 months when he arrived from Sporting Lisbon with 45 goal involvements during his first season and a half at Old Trafford, however, this season he’s got just 15 returns n the league.

Fernandes is not the only one to have disappointed this season though with the Red Devils sitting sixth in the Premier League six points off the top four having played an extra game and it will once again be another season without any silverware being lifted.
Thomlinson has picked out Fernandes for specific criticism after his poor campaign.

While Fernandes has been putting up impressive numbers when it comes to creating chances sitting top for shot-creating actions with 134, however, that’s significantly down on last season when he managed 164 so there’s been a clear drop down in his productivity.
When it comes to passing, as Thomlinson picked out for specific criticism, Fernandes has attempted 516 fewer than last season and has a lower pass completion percentage than last campaign, so everything is pointing towards the Portuguese midfielder clearly not performing to the level many will have expected him to.
