Liverpool’s quest for the quadruple continues this afternoon as they head to Wembley to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final, less than a week since that enthralling 2-2 draw at the Etihad.

Jurgen Klopp has close to a full squad to pick from, with players like Kostas Tsimikas pushing for a starting place. He delivered a Man of the Match performance against Benfica midweek to see the Reds into the semi-finals of the Champions League. His performance also saw him nominated for UEFA’s Player of the Week.

When players are involved in games, they normally drop posts on Instagram or something on their story. After his top week, Tsimikas will be hoping to be starting at Wembley later today, sharing a matchday post to his story:

While we expect number one choice Andy Robertson to be restored for such a crucial fixture, to have the form from midweek of Tsimikas in reserve could be huge on the day.

Do you know how many points Liverpool gain in these seasons? Let's start of with 2020/21

The left back has been a key part of Liverpool’s squad this season, featuring 21 times in all competitions for Klopp’s side. He has provided six assists in those games too, with Robertson having 14 and Trent Alexander-Arnold having 17, the fact Tsimikas has proven he can be as dangerous as those two going forward is a huge boost for the Reds as they still compete on all fronts.

One big doubt for Klopp will be the fitness of Diogo Jota. Talking in his pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed that Jota suffered a knock in the Benfica game midweek and that they would have to reassess the injury again before making a decision on his availability.
