Leeds United supporters will love what Raphinha has been seen doing on Sky Sports after being subbed off.

Raphinha stepped up his game when it mattered for Leeds United once again yesterday as his opening goal set the Whites on their way to a much needed three points and helped move Leeds nine points clear of the bottom three before Burnley take on Norwich City.

There has been a lot of talk about Raphinha and what the future may look like for him at Elland Road with Barcelona said to be interested in the winger, but if this video of him on the bench yesterday is anything to go by, he’s as invested into Leeds as he ever has been.

Jesse Marsch hooked off Raphinha with just over five minutes left to play and that allowed him to relax on the bench and take in the commentary of Sky Sports while sitting on the bench and laughing away.

TIF Thoughts on Raphinha…

Will Raphinha leave this summer?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Of course, with all the uncertainty surrounding Raphinha’s future at Leeds, it must be really nice for supporters to see him so happy and enjoying himself at the club. And, his performance on the field was even more impressive as he scored, won seven duels, completed 100% of his long balls and had 50 touches on the field (as per SofaScore).

The Brazilian winger is enjoying a fine season with Leeds United having netted 10 goals and registered three assists in the Premier League, so in reality, if it wasn’t for Raphinha and his influence in the final third, Leeds would be in a lot more trouble than they already are.

As the games go by and Leeds continue to remain unbeaten it appears less likely that they will be dropping down into the Championship which will put them in a great place to try and persuade Raphinha to stay longer at Elland Road, or even extend his contract, however, with Barcelona interested the latter remains unlikely.
