A fresh video of Leeds United’s young defender Charlie Cresswell has emerged from Thorp Arch via Twitter showing his personality around the training ground.

Cresswell has featured in the Premier League five times this campaign for Leeds United, and his involvement has come due to severe injuries that the Whites have suffered in their disappointing campaign.

The video showed the young centre-back messing about in the Thorp Arch gym on one of the boxing apparatuses as his heading ability was emphasised by the original post.

Leeds United have struggled this season, which led to the sacking of Marcelo Bielsa after his side broke the record in February for the most goals conceded (20) in a calendar month.

But after the introduction of American boss Jesse Marsch, Leeds are now four games unbeaten in the Premier League and see themselves nine points above the drop zone.

Despite Cresswell only being introduced to the Premier League this campaign, he seems to have fit in well with the squad after a video has emerged of him in the training ground via Twitter.

TIF Thoughts on Cresswell…

It is clear from the recent video that Cresswell feels welcome and comfortable in and around the first team, which will be pleasing for Jesse Marsch to see.

Leeds United looked like a team destined for relegation before the arrival of Jesse Marsch, they didn’t win a game in their last six games under Bielsa’s management, but the Whites now seem all but safe after they have picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in their last four games.

Due to the severe injuries to key players such as Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford, players such as Joe Gelhardt and Charlie Cresswell have been given opportunities in the first team, and this will have been a great opportunity to showcase what they can do at the top level at such a young age.

And it appears spirit is high at Thorp Arch amid the Whites’ recent improvement to their form which has them edging closer to clinching a spot in the form for next season.
