West Ham United loanee Alex Kral has taken to social media to share some behind the scenes footage of him training amid his struggles with the Hammers.

The 23-year-old joined David Moyes’ side last summer on an initial loan deal with the London side having the option to make the deal permanent.

Could Kral still convince Moyes?

And he has certainly had his struggles since leaving Spartak Moscow having only featured for one minute in the Premier League this season.

But it seems he is looking to make a point to the fans and potentially Moyes as he shared footage to the social media platform, Telegram, showing him hard at work in the gym and on the training field and captioned: “Believe in the work you’re doing”.

The Czech international has featured in the Hammers squad 23 times in the Premier League this season, however, coming off the bench just once (via Transfermarkt).

He arrived in London in the summer on the back of a season where he had featured prominently for Spartak Moscow in the Russian top flight with 29 league appearances and numerous displays for his nation (via Transfermarkt).

Kral has been offered a few opportunities across the Europa League and the FA Cup, but it seems his brief cameos on the pitch have failed to impress Moyes:

“Alex [Kral] has had one or two opportunities, not as many maybe as he would have liked, but we can only go on what we see,” said the 58-year-old.

And it has been reported the Hammers are unlikely to make the midfielder’s move to London permanent after his slow start with West Ham.

With time running out to impress Moyes and convince him he is worthy of becoming a permanent West Ham player, it seems his social media posts may have been made in hope of impressing the boss.
