Tottenham Hotspur boss, Antonio Conte, was in a cheerful mood at the end of their game on Wednesday night as they returned to N17 with maximum points.

The Italian was spotted after the game by Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge as he hugged his players and took the time to take photos with some Brighton & Hove Albion fans.

Do you expect Conte to stay for next season?

Spurs ran out comfortable 2-0 victors against Graham Potter’s side on Wednesday night with goals from Cristian Romero and Harry Kane sealing the points.

Conte’s men now sit just three points behind the top four race but have a big game on the weekend coming up against their London rivals, West Ham United.

And it seemed the Italian’s mood had been lifted after their recent struggles which has seen the 52-year-old often left furious after the conclusion of a Spurs game:

“Conte making sure every squad member gets a hug, even has time for a few selfies with Brighton fans behind his dugout. He’ll be happy with tonight’s performance in the end. Job done,” Bridge tweeted.

TIF Thoughts on Bridge’s tweet…

Spurs fans will definitely enjoy seeing their Italian manager in good spirits having not exactly been upbeat after some of the recent Tottenham games.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with it at all but taking photos with opposition fans may come as a slight surprise as Raul Jimenez was absolutely destroyed for taking selfies with Arsenal fans recently, albeit was after a Wolves loss.

With Arsenal losing against Liverpool later in the night, the possibility of still landing a spot in the top four is still achievable for the north Londoners.

Tottenham are still trailing in the race but we think it would be a huge boost for the Italian going into the summer if Spurs could land a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Conte has spoken about the club needing to act ambitiously in the summer and if they were to finish in the top four it would be a huge financial boost going into the transfer window.
