Forgotten Celtic man Boli Bolingoli has shared a video of himself working hard in the gym as he tries to carve out a future with the club.
Having barely featured all season for the Bhoys – playing just twice in all competitions – the defender was sent out on loan to Russian Premier League side FC Ufa for the remainder of the campaign during the winter transfer market.
Since making his move, however, he has yet to appear for the club and seems to be doing his best to work his way into that team, as well as possibly Ange Postecolgou’s plans for the future.
Indeed, in a video he shared on Instagram, Bolingoli can be seen working away in the gym as he looks to build up his fitness.

Things clearly were not going well for Bolingoli in Scotland. After all, his last outing before leaving on loan in January came all the way back in October.
With that in mind, it really seems as though his Celtic career has never recovered since he broke Covid-19 protocols last season. The Belgian flew to Spain and back, without telling his club, and then didn’t quarantine himself for the requisite 14 days. This meant he played against Kilmarnock five days later and was subsequently given a multiple game ban.

After his latest Instagram video, it seems he’s trying to prove how hard he is working to get back to his best. But it may take a little more than that if he is to salvage his future in Scotland.
