Crystal Palace travel to Molineux on Saturday and former Premier League footballer Vinnie Jones has predicted the south London side to beat opponents Wolves, despite the hosts sitting 10 points ahead with a game in hand.

Wolves have lost their previous two Premier League games, whilst Crystal Palace haven’t lost in their previous two outings. Despite this, Wolves still find themselves seven points off the top four, with a game in hand over fourth-placed Manchester United.

When the sides faced each other in November at Selhurst Park, the Eagles came away with all three points after they beat Wolves 2-0 thanks to goals from Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher.

In his predictions for the weekend’s action, Jones believes that Palace will beat Wolves, even though in terms of form, Wolves have been better across their last six games, with the Eagles only winning once in that time.

TIF Thoughts on Vinnie Jones’ prediction…

With Crystal Palace having won just once out of their previous six Premier League games and Wolves winning three of their last six, it may seem like an odd call from Jones to back Palace.

However, indulging deeper, Wolves have lost in their previous two fixtures against West Ham and Arsenal, whilst Palace haven’t lost in their last three games in all competitions, including a 4-1 thumping away from home against Watford.

Albeit, Palace come into this fixture in better form in recent weeks, Wolves are still the side competing for the top four, so they will have greater motivation to get the three points. Whilst Patrick Vieira’s side doesn’t have a lot to play for in terms of the League, we could see them step off the gas.
