Wolverhampton Wanderers are having a quietly good season and are certainly in the hunt for European football next season, but they have had to do so with some key long term injuries.

For the first time since his injury, Pedro Neto started a Premier League fixture for Wolves against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon. His knee injury has kept him sidelined for 330 days he says, missing 31 games for his side.

Now that is some serious time on the treatment table! He came off the bench in the three games prior, before making his first start against Palace, managing 63 minutes.

He shared his elation on Instagram with the following post and comment, even teammate Ruben Neves couldn’t resist a comment.

He was an integral part to their Premier League campaign last season, registering 31 appearances for Wolves, scoring five and setting up six. His season was cut short with the knee injury though, so after a lengthy lay off, it’s great to see him back starting.
