West Ham United’s Alex Kral has taken to Instagram to show that despite being left out of the Hammers side by David Moyes, he is still putting in the work.

Midfielder Kral joined the Hammers on a season-long loan deal from Spartak Moscow, with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Kral has been repeatedly left out of the Hammers starting XI by David Moyes and has only featured once in the Premier League off the bench this season after his arrival in the summer.

The 23-year-old took to Instagram and posted a gym picture, implying that he is working hard to earn more game time from Moyes in a Hammers shirt.

TIF Thoughts on Alex Kral’s current situation at West Ham…

The Czech occupies the defensive midfield position, and unfortunately, this is where England international Declan Rice and key man Tomas Soucek play, so it has been difficult for Kral to get himself into the side ahead of these star performers.

Kral has presumably been sent on loan by Spartak Moscow in order to gain first-team minutes, but this hasn’t been the case since he has joined and he has not yet been given the chance to prove himself that he is worth West Ham pursuing a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Rice has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham in the past, and maybe the option-to-buy clause has been put in place in case they do receive a bid for the Englishman that they can’t turn down so that they have an instant replacement.
