Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has taken to Instagram following their win on Monday night to share a dressing room image.

Spurs made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since December with an emphatic 5-0 victory at home to Everton.

It seemed to be all smiles in the Tottenham dressing room after the final whistle as the players celebrated three big points in the fight for a spot in next season’s Champions League.

And a familiar face was spotted in the home dressing room in the Dane’s Instagram story after the game, as Moussa Sissoko made a visit to his old teammates.

The pair were pictured inside the Spurs changing room with the Frenchman as Hojbjerg captioned the story with: “Le president Sissoko.”

The Frenchman departed in the summer for Watford after five years in north London having joined the club back in 2016 from Newcastle United.

And the midfielder became a popular figure at the Lilywhites as he won the Legends’ Player of the Season award for the 2018/19 campaign.

During his time at Spurs, Sissoko made 202 appearances across all competitions, where he scored five times and provided 16 assists (via Transfermarkt).

His stock among Spurs fans will have also increased over the weekend as the 32-year-old was able to find the back of the net for the Hornets against rivals Arsenal.

With Tottenham’s struggles in midfield over recent weeks before Rodrigo Bentancur’s return, we do wonder whether some Spurs fans would’ve wished Sissoko was still at the club.
