Director of Football at Spurs Fabio Paratici has highlighted how well Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have settled in at the club.

Kulusevki was brought into Tottenham in January on an 18-month loan deal and has impressed so far, managing six goal contributions in his opening nine Premier League games.

Bentancur meanwhile has also played a key role since his introduction, featuring eight times in the Premier League already.

Paratici spoke to the Tottenham Hotspur Youtube channel and highlighted how well the pairing have fit in with the squad and to life in England.

“Me and Toni we know these players very well, me because I was in Juve before, and Antonio because he was in Italy. So he knows very well the players. We know the character, and the mentality, and the style of these players would be right for us so the adaptation was really really quick.

“Normally some players need some time to adapt, to adapt to the Premier League, to England and whatever, and for Rodrigo and Deki, it was really quick.”

TIF Thoughts on Fabio Paratici’s comments…

In the eight Premier League games Bentancur has played, he has an average passing accuracy of 90% while he also has a successful dribble rate of 64%, as per Sofascore.

Kulusevski has similarly been a real force for Spurs, contributing to six goals, averaging an impressive player rating of 7.2 over his last five games, and boastingan 87% successful passing rate on average per game.

With the introduction of these two players, who have already had a positive impact on the Spurs side, this could be a sign of things to come in terms of future investment under Antonio Conte.
