Liverpool defender Neco Williams may have given Jürgen Klopp something to think about as footage of him on international duty has emerged.

The 20-year-old Welshman has struggled to make an impression on the Liverpool side in recent seasons, with the vast majority of his 33 appearances coming in various cup competitions. Although, this is slightly understandable when you consider that he has to compete with Trent Alexander-Arnold for a place.

Do you know how many points Liverpool gain in these seasons? Let's start of with 2020/21

In a bid to aid his development, he was sent on loan to Championship side Fulham during the January transfer window, where he’s been able to become a regular for Marco Silva’s side, starting 10 games for them, but it’s what he’s done at international level that could cause something of a stir.

Wales are getting set to take on the Czech Republic in a friendly in Cardiff, and Williams posted footage of himself on his Instagram Story that showed him taking the ball out from the goalkeeper, taking a touch and then firing the ball into the far top corner with ease from a considerable distance:

Williams has shown what he is capable of with his feet so far whilst on loan at Fulham, with the impressive dipping volley he scored against Swansea City and coming incredibly close to scoring from almost the halfway line in their win against Blackburn Rovers, on top of adding two assists to his name.

And whilst this latest clip was only in training, it does show what he has in his locker, so it might just give the Liverpool boss a reason to ponder whether or not there is a place for him in his team after all, or at the very least, a bigger role than he currently has at Anfield.
