A move for Aaron Hickey to Leeds United could be a possibility in the summer, according to football journalist Pete O’Rourke.
The transfer insider was speaking to This Is Futbol amid reports having already linked with 19-year-old with a potential move to the Yorkshire club.

It has been claimed the Whites are one of the clubs to show interest in the Bologna left-back with 12 of the 20 Premier League clubs being credited with eyeing the Scotsman.
Leeds invested last summer in adding to their options at left-back with the £12.8m signing of Junior Firpo from La Liga giants Barcelona.
But with Firpo not exactly impressing since arriving to the Premier League last summer, O’Rourke believes the Whites could turn to Hickey in the summer:
“Yeah, I could see this one possibly. Hickey, as you said, done very well over in Serie A with Bologna, a very good young player with real potential maybe to go even higher as well,” said O’Rourke.

Firpo has had a difficult time since arriving in Yorkshire and injuries have certainly played their part with the 25-year-old sidelined again through an injury issue.
In comparison, Hickey is impressing in Serie A with four goals from the left-back position this season which has reportedly attracted a lot of interest.
And we absolutely agree with O’Rourke’s high praise of the youngster who is certainly making a name for himself. The biggest issue may be whether Leeds can attract him to Elland Road with such interest in him.
