Alphonse Areola has posted a message to West Ham United fans ahead of the club’s huge Europa League clash.
West Ham have been drawn against one of the toughest opponents left in the Europa League in the form of Sevilla, who have won it a very impressive four times in the last eight seasons.

The Hammers have the daunting task of travelling away to Spain for the first leg, which will surely see David Moyes set his side up to come away with a positive result, even if that is just getting beaten by a small margin to give them a good chance of beating the second-best team in La Liga in the return leg.
Someone who is likely to start is Areola, with the backup ‘keeper having started all but one cup game this season. He appears ready for the clash, posting on Instagram: “Bring on the European nights.”

It will be a bold move and show a huge amount of trust from Moyes to put in Areola if he starts his second-choice goalkeeper in what could be the club’s biggest game of the season so far – but also one that Moyes could easily make, given that Areola has kept a clean sheet in half of the games he’s started this season.
West Ham now find themselves three points off the Champions League spots having played three more games than Arsenal, which means their best chance of playing in Europe’s elite competition next season may well be winning the Europa League, so Moyes will likely be putting a lot of attention on the game.
