Rangers forward Fashion Sakala has hilariously mocked teammate Amad Diallo for ‘always’ falling asleep after training.
In the past winter transfer market, the Manchester United man moved on loan to the Scottish giants until the end of the season. On the pitch, it took him no time at all to make an impact as Diallo netted just five minutes into his debut – scoring in a 3-3 draw with Ross County.
Will Giovanni van Bronckhorst succeed at Rangers?
It seems that off the pitch, he is also settling in well and certainly looks comfortable in his new surroundings. Indeed, in a video shared online by Gers striker Sakala, the 19-year-old can be spotted having fallen asleep in the back of his teammate’s car.
The Rangers man shared the footage directly to his Instagram story with the caption: “My guy always sleep in the car after training.” He then tagged Diallo and added a few crying and laughing emojis, too.
The winger is undoubtedly a very talented player, with the Red Devils paying an initial £19m for the Ivory Coast man, with a further £18.2m in add-ons to potentially be paid on top.
However, his chances for game time in Manchester this season were pretty minimal, so it made a lot of sense for him to head off to Rangers for the rest of the campaign – where has now played four times in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
No doubt, before returning back to Man United, he’ll hope to become a regular under Giovanni van Bronkhorst as his loan side aim to win the Scottish Premiership for the second time in a row.
