Alasdair Gold has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on new Tottenham Hotspur signing Dejan Kulusevski and his first interview for the club.

The Swedish international was announced as a Tottenham player on Monday afternoon having made the move from Juventus after two years with the Old Lady.

Do you think Kulusevski will be a good signing?

Kulusevski has made the move to north London on an initial 18-month loan deal from the Serie A giants, but Spurs have the option to make that deal permanent for a believed fee to be in the region of €40m (£33.3m).

Having been confirmed as a Tottenham player, the 21-year-old spoke to the club’s media team about his excitement to work under Antonio Conte:

“I hope to bring energy to the team. I love playing football, it’s the best thing in the world, playing, attacking, defending, playing for each other. To win games, score goals, assists… I just want to do it all,” said the Swede.

“He’s a very good coach, he’s a winner and that’s what I want to be, so I want to learn as much as possible from him.”

And the comments clearly left Gold impressed by the 21-year-old’s attitude, as he reacted on Twitter by writing: “Saying all the things Conte likes to hear.”

Kulusevski has had a difficult start to the campaign with Juventus, having just been able to provide one goal in Serie A, with a big chunk of his game time coming from the bench (via Transfermarkt).

However, if his words translate to his performances, Spurs will be hoping to see the Swede return to the form he showed during his loan spell with Parma during the 2019/20 campaign.
