A lot of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations at the performance of James Forrest in their Scottish Premiership game on Wednesday night.
The Bhoys prevailed in a 2-1 victory to maintain the pressure on the league leaders, who remain four points ahead of Ange Postecoglou’s men.
Is James Forrest good enough for Celtic?
Yes
No
Celtic took a 2-0 lead into the interval at Tynecastle Park, but were left hanging on to their lead as Hearts pulled one back before missing a penalty in the latter stages of the clash.
And it was apparent the performance of the 30-year-old winger, who played all 90 minutes of the game in Edinburgh on Wednesday night, but only managed to put one of his four shots on target (via WhoScored).
What did these Celtic fans have to say?
“James Forrest is a waste of a jersey. Heart of a mouse”
The winger has missed a large chunk of the season due to a knee injury sustained earlier in the campaign, but having now made 10 appearances in the league, the winger is still in search of his first goal.
Forrest completed the game with the second-lowest pass completion rate of any Celtic player, and it seems these fans will be desperate for the clinical Kyogo Furuhashi to return from injury.
