A lot of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to voice their delight at the latest image to emerge from their centre-back Christopher Jullien.
The French defender has had a torrid time over the last year with the serious knee injury he suffered after colliding with the goal post against Dundee United.
Should Jullien start on against Alloa?
Yes
No
However, on Friday, the 28-year-old provided fans with some optimism as he posted an image of himself back in training at Lennoxtown with the caption: ‘Green light’.
The tweet emerged just hours before Celtic take to the pitch on Saturday afternoon in their latest Scottish Cup clash against Alloa Athletic and these fans were evidently encouraged.
What did these Celtic fans have to say?
“YASSSSSSSS!!!!! We are starting to look strong for the second half of the season, soon as Kyogo is back, hopefully we will be running through teams at the business end of the season.”
Having missed over a year of action for the Hoops, it is apparent these fans feel the game against Scottish League One side could provide the French centre-back with the perfect opportunity to return to Ange Postecoglou’s side.
And given Celtic did not lose any of the nine league games Jullien featured in last season, it is no surprise these fans want to see Jullien return to full fitness as they aim to close the gap on the league leaders.
