Celtic fans have had one hell of a start to the January transfer window. After pulling off the triple signing of Japanese stars Daizen Maeda, Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate, Ange Postecoglou is already looking at his next target.
The manager is now keen to make Cameron Carter-Vickers’ loan from Spurs a permanent move. Daily Record Sport are reporting that talks have now been opened between the sides.

It’s clear they want the move to be made permanent and it’s easy to see why. He’s been a regular for Postecoglou this season, playing 24 games across all competitions. He’s also chipped in with two goals and an assist from defence.
Obviously you never want to have a player on loan that becomes integral to the team that you can’t make permanent, fortunately for the Hoops fans, it doesn’t look like this will be a problem with Spurs or Carter-Vickers.
Celtic are showing plenty of intent as they look to get right back into the title fight and cut Rangers’ lead of six points down.
