A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight with the latest update to emerge on Hugo Lloris’ contract situation.
According to Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold, it is expected a new deal for the Tottenham captain will be finalised ‘very soon’, with the Frenchman into the final months of his current deal.

With Lloris free to talk with foreign clubs over a potential deal for the summer, it is believed Rennes and Nice have both shown an interest in potentially acquiring the 35-year-old.
