Tottenham Hotspur fans have been drawn to a Deadline Day claim to emerge on Twitter suggesting the Lilywhites will look for a potential late deal for a right wing-back.
According to Darren Lewis, Spurs are ready for a ‘whirlwind’ final day of the January transfer window which will see the north London side focus their attention on finding a right wing-back.
Spurs went into this month’s window with one of Antonio Conte’s reported wishes being to address the right wing-back position, having failed to be impressed by Emerson Royal.
However, with just hours remaining until the window shuts, there has yet to be any defensive additions to the Spurs squad, which these fans are clearly desperate to see.

Spurs were heavily linked to Adama Traore this month, with Conte believed to be hopeful of converting the Spaniard into a right wing-back, however, they were pipped to the player by Barcelona last week.
