According to Dharmesh Sheth, there is interest coming from the Premier League in the Fenerbahce centre-back this month, with the 23-year-old valued at around €15m-€20m (£12.5m-£16.7m).

The reporter claims the Toon are joined by West Ham United and AC Milan in showing interest in the defender, with his contract in Turkey running through to 2025.

Szalai made the move to the Turkish giants last summer for a fee of around £1.8m and has gone on to make 19 appearances in the Super Lig already this season (via Transfermarkt).
Having played such an important role in the Fenerbahce side since arriving, it seems these fans feel Szalai could be a good addition to Eddie Howe’s side as they look to maintain their Premier League status.
