Leeds United fans have been reacting to a tweet from Phil Hay about the state of the club as the January transfer window draws to a close.
Leeds have been incredibly quiet this window when it comes to the movement of players.
There have been no incomings as Deadline Day gets underway, and the only departure has been that of Cody Drameh to Championship side Cardiff City.
There have been some reports late in the window that there could be more outgoings at Elland Road, with Kalvin Philips and Raphinha linked with transfers out of the club. However, an article from The Athletic detailed the latest with both of those reported transfers, explaining how neither will be leaving the club this window.
This was relayed by Hay on Twitter for fans to react to, with many of them using it as a chance to react to the state of the club’s transfer window in general, and it’s fair to say that a number of them were not best pleased with how things have shaped up:
“What’s the point of these new Americans? No investment at all apparently? Just buying a brand to sell on? If they aren’t up to the challenge now what do we have to look forward to when they take full control?”
Are you frustrated with the Leeds board?
Yes
No
Of course, there’s plenty of time for things to change on Deadline Day, but whether or not they end up doing so, only time will tell.

Fans, still holding hope for new in-comings would be blatantly naive. It’s a myth what this club is doing now
