A lot of Celtic fans have flooded to Twitter to share their excitement at the latest claim to emerge regarding the future of Jota at Parkhead. 

According to a Portuguese journalist, the Hoops are now expected to purchase Jota on a permanent deal from his parent club for a fee in the region of €7.5m (£6.3m).

Will Celtic sign Jota permanently?





The 22-year-old winger has joined the Bhoys on a season-long loan from Portuguese side Benfica, and Almeida believes Celtic feel they could eventually sell Jota for around €30m (£25.5m).

Jota has scored three times in his last two Scottish Premiership games, and fans flocked to Twitter as they shared their excitement over the claims emerging from the Portuguese journalist.

Jota has made a really impressive start to his life in Glasgow, having provided 14 goal involvements in the 17 appearances across all competitions for the Bhoys (via Transfermarkt).

Given the start to the season Jota has made, it is not surprising these fans are so pleased to hear the latest claim to emerge regarding a potential permanent deal for the winger.
