Celtic fans will be over the moon tonight as they celebrate Ange Postecoglou’s first Celtic trophy. While Kyogo Furuhashi will get all the plaudits for his brace, it’s Joe Hart the fans are thanking.
After falling behind early in the second half to a Paul Hanlon goal, Kyogo Furuhashi levelled the scores within 60 seconds.

The Japanese marksman doubled his tally for the afternoon to secure a 2-1 win for Celtic, but the result could have been much different had it not been for Joe Hart.
The former England number one pulled off a terrific save in the final seconds, securing the trophy for Celtic.

He’s basically been ever present for Postecoglou all season, playing every single minute in all competitions, bar the one game he sat out. In the 30 games he’s played, he’s kept an impressive 14 clean sheets.
It may not have been a clean sheet for Hart in the Scottish League Cup final, but he won’t care, nor will the Celtic faithful. He made sure the trophy returned to Celtic Park with his brilliance.
