A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their concern at the latest claim to emerge regarding the club’s virus outbreak at Hotspur Way.

The north London club were forced into postponing their two games last week due to their in-house outbreak as well as closing their training ground for a number of days.

And according to The Telegraph, there has been a fresh positive test returned on Monday by one of the Lilywhites’ first-team players.

The news comes just hours before Antonio Conte was set to hold a training session ahead of their scheduled clash against Leicester City on Thursday night, and it was apparent these fans were not impressed as they took to Twitter.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“This is a total nightmare.”

“It gets worse”
“Never ends”
“Wow.”
“For crying out loud, this club is cursed”
“We are finished”
“When it rains, it pours.”

Tottenham’s last game came in the Premier League against Norwich City, which has left them in a promising position to climb into the top four as it stands.

However, they now have two Premier League matches to catch up on and potentially a Europa Conference League clash to reschedule, so this build-up of games is clearly becoming a concern.
