A large number of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their delight at a recent image to emerge from St. James’ Park.
Two months on from the Saudi Arabian-based takeover, Sports Direct advertising signs have begun to be removed from the Tyneside stadium which were put up by the previous owner.

Photos emerged earlier in the week of the signs from inside the stadium bowl being brought down, while the latest photo to emerge has emerged of the club’s progress.
An image has surfaced 0n Twitter showing the removal of one of the more prominent Sports Direct signage from the Milburn Reception and fans voiced their delight.

Newcastle’s attention will turn their attention back to the pitch on Sunday with a trip to Leicester City as they aim to build on their first win of the season against Burnley on the weekend.
Although the Magpies have had their difficulties this season, it is apparent this image has certainly boosted their mood as the Mike Ashley era truly comes to an end.
