On Thursday, Marcelo Bielsa confirmed to the media that both Daniel James and Jamie Shackleton are both going to miss the weekend’s clash against Arsenal due to injuries sustained against Manchester City.

The Argentine manager revealed neither player would make the game against the Gunners, with James suffering an abductor muscle injury and Shackleton sustaining an Achilles issue.

And Leeds fans flocked to Twitter as they shared their frustrations with yet another set of injury blows adding to their mounting list of players who are sidelined after Phil Hay relayed Bielsa’s update.

What did these Leeds fans have to say?

“If you dont laugh you will cry at this point! Ridiculous our injury list.”
“We are finished”
“i’m going to CRY”
“i’m actually gonna sob”
“You couldn’t make it up”
“Cheers phil. Thursday wrecked.”

One silver lining coming out of the press conference was Bielsa confirming Robin Koch will in fact be available on the weekend for selection after suffering from his own injury issue.

However, it is clear there is a huge concern among these fans as their injury list continues to grow and results fail to improve, with the relegation zone just a matter of points away.
