Leeds United fans have been reacting to the performance of Jack Harrison during their recent game in the Premier League.

Having been productive for Leeds over the seasons with 20 goals and 23 assists during his time at Elland Road, Harrison’s production levels have dropped off significantly this season, as he only has one assist in the league so far, and whilst he did record two goals and an assist in their League Cup campaign, they did come against League One side Crewe Alexandra.

Can you remember where Leeds finished in these league seasons? First up: 2018/19

That bad run of form continued during their recent 3-2 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, where he didn’t have the best of days. He completed just 68% of his passes, didn’t contribute a key pass, was dispossessed three times (the second-most of any Leeds player) and didn’t win a single aerial duel for an overall rating of 6.4 (as per WhoScored).

It was no surprise, then, to see that there were plenty of Leeds United fans who were left unimpressed with his performance on social media, and they were not afraid to voice their views:

“We deserved to lose. 3 stupid mistakes against a top team. Some dead wood at the club. Harrison Klich Cooper Roberts all need to go.”

“Then start him. Harrison has been dreadful all season.”
“Please cash in on Harrison in the summer. Apart from the few flashes of brilliance he’s awful! *Please fate I’m tempting you.”
“What has actually happened to Jack Harrison this season and how is Crysencio Summerville not getting more game time?”
“Jack Harrison’s decision making needs some work.”
“James and Harrison are absolutely awful footballers, at the minute at the very least”
“Harrison James Roberts total passengers now.”

Should Jack Harrison be dropped for Leeds' next match?

It’s probably too soon to consider selling the 25-year-old, as some above have suggested, as Leeds only signed him permanently this past summer, but he certainly does need to up his game moving forward to give his side the best chance of moving forward and away from the drop in the Premier League.
