Leeds United fans have been reacting to news surrounding Daniel James that has emerged following their recent game in the Premier League.

Leeds are suffering from a crisis both on and off the pitch at the moment. Not only are they on a terrible run in the league, with just one win since the start of November, but they are also in the middle of a rather devastating injury situation with a number of first-team players out.

This was made worse by Junior Firpo picking up a yellow card against Manchester City, which rules him out of their game this weekend against Arsenal.

First up in this 2020/21 LUFC quiz, which of these players did NOT score against Liverpool in the 4-3 defeat at Anfield?

Their situation has now apparently taken another setback, as according to The Telegraph (via TEAMTalk), James picked up a muscular injury at the Etihad Stadium, meaning that he now will also be forced to take some time away from the side.

The news was relayed to Leeds fans by journalist James Marshment for them to react to, where it’s fair to say there wasn’t much positivity to be found as their situation worsens, as some hoped for the season to take a break so that they could get players back to full strength:

“Call them off immediately!”

“Maybe Dan James as well. This is getting so ridiculous it’s actually funny”
“GENUINELY STOP THE SEASON”
“Null and void”
“Maybe a pause in the season would do us a favour at the moment, can’t believe our luck. Are they doing too much in training ?”
“Wow this is bad.”

Do you think Dan James will improve under Bielsa?

Yes

No

Whilst James’ form hasn’t been great this season, with just one goal and two assists in 16 games for Leeds, given the injury situation they’re in, they’ll need all the bodies they can get, so his absence is just another problem for them to deal with.
