A whole host of Leeds United fans have reacted on Twitter to this latest Helder Costa transfer claim.
Costa is still Leeds United’s seventh most expensive player in the club’s history as they shelled out £16 million for the winger in 2020 but he never managed to nail down a regular starting role under Marcelo Bielsa in the Premier League.

Once Leeds managed to bring in Daniel James over the summer, Costa was allowed to head out on loan and he has been with Valencia ever since, but his form has failed to improve having not scored in La Liga thus far.
This has seemingly not completely put Valencia off signing the winger permanently next summer as a Spanish outlet have claimed that if the La Liga outfit wish to make the winger’s move permanently, they’ll have to pay a huge £19.5 million.

Despite his poor attacking output in the Premier League, Marcelo Bielsa may well be wishing he kept Costa at the club given the injury crisis he is currently having to deal with as the likes of Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford are all injured.
