West Ham players will not want to leave the club, says former Premier League midfielder Carlton Palmer.

Vice-captain Declan Rice continues to be linked with a move away from the London Stadium, though The Sun have reported that the Hammers have no intention of selling him and would even reject a £100m-plus bid.

They are flying right now, currently sitting in third heading into today’s game against Wolves after beating Liverpool 3-2 last time out.

Will West Ham lose their star players?

Yes

Yes

No chance!

No chance!

Palmer believes something really special is going on at the east London club and, for that reason, cannot see any player wanting to depart in this moment of time.

“West Ham have got something special going on down there with David Moyes now and they’ve got a special group of players,” the ex-Leeds United and Southampton star said to TIF.

“They’ve just beaten Liverpool. I don’t think any of those players will be looking to jump ship at the moment.”

Like Rice, Jarrod Bowen is another player you would expect to attract interest in 2022. He has been performing well, conjuring up four assists in the Premier League this season, and was reportedly on Liverpool’s radar during the summer.

But with where West Ham are right now, it would not be a surprise if their prized assets decide to stick around for a bit longer.
