Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the performance of Eric Dier during their Europa Conference League game against Vitesse.
It was the first game of the Antonio Conte era following his appointment just a few days previously, and he grabbed three valuable points to start his tenure as Spurs had made a nervous start to the competition, having only won one of their games heading into the match and losing the reverse fixture against the Dutch side last time out.
They would go on to win the game, however, it wasn’t plain sailing for every single member of the Tottenham side, as Dier found out. He played a part in both of the visitors’ goals in the first half, allowing his man to score from a corner for the opener and getting nutmegged for the second.
