A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations at a fresh transfer claim to emerge regarding the future of three of their players.

It is suggested in Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport that the trio of Harry Winks, Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp could all depart the north London club under Antonio Conte.

Will Conte get Spurs top four this season?

Yes

No

Skipp and Hojbjerg have featured prominently this season under the former boss, Nuno Espirito Santo, with 10 league appearances to both their names, while Winks has started just once in the Premier League this term.

Spurs fans flocked to Twitter to share their concerns at the claims emerging from Italy with many voicing their disapproval at the notion of selling Hojbjerg and Skipp.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Hojberg is not leaving as he is obviously Conte’s Vidal ( if Vidal wasn’t signed in January)”

“OFF YOU POP SIR”
“maybe nuno wasnt so bad”
“LOL. Not Skipp & Hojbjerg.”
“Might be time to bring him back”
“imma pretend i didn’t see this”

Winks has had a wretched season to date, with just 60 minutes of Premier League action under his belt (via Transfermarkt).

The 25-year-old spoke openly following a recent Europa Conference League game about his recent struggles with the Lilywhites, which saw him drop out of favour at both Spurs and England.

There are clearly a lot of fans who do not want to see Skipp and Hojbjerg leave, but would Winks be a player who Spurs could offload in January? Only time will tell.

If that is what he wants to do the so be it, they aren’t world class players we’re talking about, that is the foundation of a lot of teams, he obviously thinks he can strengthen us there. I’m behind him all the way, lets hope Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis are too.
