Image for Newcastle United: Fans buzz as behind-the-scenes image emerges

A lot of Newcastle United fans are ecstatic on Twitter to see an image from their dressing room emerge.

Newcastle’s new owners have spoken publicly about their aims on the pitch, but they’re also ambitious off it, with Amanda Staveley claiming that they have aims to improve and pay attention to the academy, women’s football team and also take the Sports Direct signs down at St. James’ Park.

While the latter is something at the forefront of Staveley’s thoughts, it seems that the new owners are also getting to work on the inside of the stadium, as an image circulated online appearing to show developments are well underway to improve the club’s dressing room, with a new fitness studio thought to be being installed.

To see their new owners paying attention to the club and how that looks to fans and players will be a breath of fresh air to Newcastle supporters, who have been used to Mike Ashley’s way of running things. It got so bad under Ashley, that when the windows at St. James’ Park got cleaned under the new owners, it was reported as news by The Chronicle.

Perhaps this is a sign of things to come.
