Queens Park Rangers fans have been reacting to the performance of Yoann Barbet during their latest game in the Championship.

Mark Warburton’s men came into the game off the back of a last-minute draw at home to Nottingham Forest on Friday night. QPR have certainly been entertaining this year, coming into the game with 49 goals across their games so far this season – the second-most of anyone in the division – and have made a good case to be part of the play-off contenders come the end of the campaign.

They managed to pick up the win on the night against Cardiff City, however, according to the fans online, not everyone seemed to be pulling their weight down in south Wales.

French defender Barbet came in for some staunch criticism, with some of them seemingly angry at how much he gave the ball away, and they weren’t shy in letting their voices be heard online during the game:

“We will never see prem football with Barbet in the side.”

“Barbet needs to learn how to pass a ball”
“Don’t give the ball to Barbet.”
“Does Barbet know what way we are playing?? Nearly all his passes go backwards or sideways. Total waste of space”
“I really struggle with Barbet”
“Barbet has been diabolical so far”

Barbet did actually manage to complete 80% of his passes on the night, which was higher than the team average of 78% (via WhoScored), but it looks as if these fans decided to focus on the minority that got away from him rather than those he completed.
