Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Nuno Espirito Santo’s starting line-up against Manchester United in the Premier League.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side started off the campaign with three successive 1-o victories, results that initially saw them leap to the table of the table.

Subsequently, it went rapidly downhill for the Lilywhites, losing their next three back-to-back, including conceding three goals in each game as well as losing the north London derby against Arsenal. However, Nuno’s side have managed to win their next two two games, a 2-1 win against Aston Villa and 3-2 victory against Newcastle respectively.

However, Nuno’s side lost their most recent outing in the league, a narrow 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium last Sunday, marking a fifth successive Premier League London derby defeat.

Furthemore, Nuno has now made the decision to omit Tanguy Ndombele from his matchday squad in the vital clash against Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side this evening.

And, after hearing about Nuno’s starting line-up, many Spurs fans took to Twitter to discuss the news.

What did Spurs fans have to say about it?

“Surely Tanganga over Royal made more sense today than Davies over Reguilon. Ndombele has been our best player recently. Nuno out. Enough is enough”

@DeleTubbies20

“Davies!!! No Ndombele!! This will be painful”

@ross_roon

“No Ndombele is criminal, and so is starting Ben can’t defend Davies”

@thfcpeezy

“5-0 United Davies at LB and GLC instead of Ndombele we are finished”

@cufchazza

“No Reguilon or Ndombele. Staggering. I genuinely think Nuno is actively seeking the sack at this point. #COYS

Nuno’s side have only actually scored nine times in their nine league games this season, while Spurs have only won one of their last five Premier League games against Man United, with the north London outfit suffering a 3-1 defeat in the corresponding contest between the two teams last season.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

However, they will be looking to secure a vital victory against the Red Devils that could see them move up to fourth position in the table as they look to reignite their campaign and increase the pressure on Man United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this afternoon.

    Not one shot on target in that first half again. Our play is way too slow and predictable. No creativity, it’s so poor and boring to watch. Levy promised a manager that plays flowing attacking football, it couldn’t be more the opposite. Levy OUT!!!

  • Tony Borg says:

    That was one of the worst games I’ve watched in years, I can’t remember a single shot on target. Nuno hasn’t got a clue, he is way out of his depth, Levy needs to take the blame, sacking Pochettino and Mourinho for this clown, it’s all simply to create a smoke screen to save his own position. 20 years of failure and he’s still running the show, who else would be in a job after that kind of record? #LevyOut!! and take Nuno with you.
