According to reports, Tottenham are considering the likes of Paulo Fonseca & Sergio Conceição as potential replacements as their manager if they choose to sack Nuno Espirito Santo.

According to The Evening Standard, chairman Daniel Levy and sporting director Fabio Paratici are in discussions about the possible options to potentially consider as a permanent replacement in the wake of a miserable 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Saturday evening.

The Portuguese became the first Spurs boss since Christian Gross to lose five of their first ten Premier League games, with the Lilywhites currently eight in the Premier League table. In light of this, Levy and Paratici are already allegedly contemplating replacing Nuno as they seek to change their fortunes.

Ahead of what could be the club’s second hunt for a new manager in 2021it appears Fonseca – who seemed destined for the role after Jose Mourinho left – is once again under consideration, along with Porto manager Conceição.

The Lilywhites will desperately hoping to get their campaign back on track when they take on Rafa Benitez’s Everton side at Goodison Park next Sunday.
