The Irishman has only played seven minutes in the Premier League under the former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss, Nuno Espirito Santo with Japhet Tanganga and Emerson Royal starting instead of the 29-year-old.

Doherty was being linked with a potential move away from Spurs during the summer with reports suggesting the Lilywhites were open to listening to offers for the defender.
Despite not even making 35 appearances for Spurs yet, it is apparent the Irishman is not impressing these Tottenham fans who were left furious with his display in France.
