A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the first-half display from Oliver Skipp against Stade Rennais.
The Englishman was making his fifth appearance of the season after starting all four of Tottenham’s Premier League games in which he has played every single minute (via Transfermarkt).

Spurs travelled to France for the first of their Europa Conference League games and took the lead early on thanks to an own goal after Lucas Moura’s cross was deflected in by Loic Bade.
However, the hosts levelled the scoring up just after 20 minutes in which Spurs fans flocked to Twitter to slam the defensive work of their young midfielder.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“That’s pathetic from the midfield, Skipp chasing shadows again”
Skipp spent the 2020/21 campaign out on loan with Norwich City and despite high praise from Daniel Farke the Canaries were unable to keep him for another year as he rejoined his parent club.
Despite being the 21-year-old’s birthday, these Spurs fans did not hold back on the youngster as they clearly were left far from impressed with his first-half showing.
