Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to the latest transfer claim to emerge on Twitter regarding the north London club.

Citing reports in Spain, Calciomercato has claimed that Spurs are preparing to make a double swoop for the Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Matthijs de Ligt which could be worth up to €135m (£116m).

The report suggests Daniel Levy is willing to offer €35m (£29.7m) for Kulusevski and up to €100m (£85.4m) for De Ligt in an upcoming transfer window.

It was the Tottenham director of football, Fabio Paratici, who organised the deals to see these two players sign for the Serie A outfit over the last few years.

Spurs fans flocked to tweets from The Spurs Express and TranSPURS to share their thoughts on the transfer claim to emerge from Italy.

What did these Spurs fans say?

“Don Levy is the best.”

“Bruh if we get De Ligt”
“OMD I LOVE PAPA PARATICI”
“Just bring De Ligt fellas”
“Imagine if this actually happened”
“De Ligt did you say?????”

Spurs were also linked with a potential swoop for Kulusevski earlier this week, with Paratici said to be a ‘huge fan’ of the Swedish winger who has made six appearances in Serie A this season without a goal (via Transfermarkt).

Despite having the option to purchase Cristian Romero permanently next summer, it seems these Spurs fans would very much welcome the potential signing of De Ligt to bolster their defence.
