A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have vented their rage on Twitter at an image to emerge following their defeat to their north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were humiliated at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as the Gunners ran out as emphatic 3-1 victors after a first-half rout from Mikel Arteta’s men.
Nuno in or Nuno out?
A graphic from Sky Sports’ coverage of the derby clash showed some damning statistics from Espirito Santo’s side which would not provide optimism among Spurs fans.
According to the graphic, Spurs have had the fewest shots per game, created the fewest chances and faced the most shots on Hugo Lloris’ goal.
Spurs fans flocked to tweets from The Spurs Web and Last Word on Spurs relaying the graphic to share their frustrations with the club for their poor statistical displays from the opening six games of the 2021/22 season.
What did these Spurs fans have to say?
“Far cry from a few years ago, going to be a painful couple of years (and the rest)”
After an impressive start from Espirito Santo’s side, Spurs have lost three consecutive league games, having conceded three goals in each of their games against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal.
