A whole host of Leeds United fans are furious on Twitter following Rodrigo’s miss against Fulham.

Leeds travelled down to the capital to face Fulham in the third round of the Carabao Cup, with Marcelo Bielsa handing starts to the likes of Jamie Shackleton, Tyler Roberts and Crysencio Summerville, with none of them starting against Newcastle United on Friday.

Will Crysencio Summerville become a regular for Leeds this season?

Someone that did manage to keep his place was Rodrigo, who was once again shunned from the striker position despite Patrick Bamford not starting for Leeds.

Fans may have seen why, as the Spanish international had an open goal after a rebound fell to him, but he got his contact all wrong and got nowhere near the goal (as per Phil Hay).

A lot of Leeds fans are fuming on Twitter with Rodrigo.

Rodrigo was signed last summer from Valencia for a club-record fee, however, he is yet to hit the heights that his £27 million price tag will justify, with just seven goals in 30 appearances in the Premier League.

Who was Bielsa's first competitive game as Leeds manager against?

Leeds have struggled in general this season, especially in front of goal, having scored just five times in the league all season and only managed to put three past lower-league Crewe Alexandra in the previous round of the Carabao Cup.
